Boise State or Ohio State????

Featured Replies

At least OSU won't ruin the National Championship game. They will just make for a bismal Fiesta bowl.

Look for OSU to go to the Fiesta and play either Texas or Oklahoma. Good times...

That should make for some quality entertainment :thumb:

Texas Tech may slip in there since they are ahead of both in the BCS, but I dopn't think they'll take 3 Big 12 teams.

Boise should, but OSU will get the nod.

And UC has earned their spot. They are in the top 12-15 range.

BCS rule. No more than 2 teams from one conference.

This is where we find out if it is about having the best teams or if it is about the money.

My personal opinion is that Boise deserves it.

But, I also think it is about the money, so I think OSU will get it.

If it wasn't about the money, we'd have a playoff.

IMO the biggest reason we don't have a playoff is so the BCS conferences can control the money.

The school presidents want to keep the money from filtering through the NCAA. That's the bottom line in all of this...

If you consider OSU getting their rear ends handed to them (which I do), then yes, it will be quality entertainment.

Yep, and if Utah & Boise get in it will cost two BCS conferences 18-20 million.

Ohio State is co-champion of a BCS conference. They get the nod over Boise St. They deserve to go to a BCS bowl. They earned it.

Last time I looked Boise was undefeated and ranked ahead of OSU in both polls and the BCS ranking.

Boise also didn't play anybody and they play in a weak conference. If Boise played in either the ACC, Big East, or Big 10, no way they would be undefeated.

Ohio St no doubt deserves the nod in this situation.

They haven't played a really good team since mid September though.

True but their win over Oregon at Oregon is as impressive as any win on Ohio State's resume. OSU's 2 best wins are over Northwestern and Michigan State who are no better, and in NW's case not as good as, Oregon.

I would love to see Boise, but it will be OSU.:sleep:
