I voted for Sk to win this one since I'll be rooting for the nky squad but I think Male will just be too much offensively and win this one in a high scoring shoot out. Miles Simpson IMO will show people why he is going to be a Mr. Football candidate next year though.

I say great for Simon Kenton. It shows the parity in 6A football. You get a large base of students to field a team from, and since most are located in the golden triangle, there is plenty of competition and development to be had. There is not as much difference in 1 and 4 seeds in 6A as there is between 1 and 2 seeds in other classes.

It will be a good game. Sk has shown that they are a great team and can do great thing on the field. This will be a low scoring game like the Boone Co. game. I'll take the Pioneers by a TD.

I agree. Male is the prohibitive favorite...but so was Boone County. I wouldn't count out this Pioneer team. They've come a long way this season, and have been surprising people as they go.

Seen where SK's b-ball team is scheduled to play Dixie Friday night as well. Isn't any chance of that game being pushed back is there?

I would say in NKY there is not much a difference in 6A from the 1 - 4 seed especially this year.

Two big probs for SK: 1)Inability to pass the ball effectively. 2)Not much team speed other than Miles, the Great. Good luck to the Neers.

I agree. The #4 seed in NKY knocked off a #1 seed out of Lex. The #2 seed out of NKY, and the #1 seed out of NKY. The worst team in NKY 6A was 5-5.

Justin Green's speed is too much for SK to deal with.

I beleive they have more speed than some think. Everyone just focuses on Miles. While he is the great, they do have others with speed also. And what they lack in speed the make up for in strentgh. I also feel that when they need to the can pass the ball effectively when needed. Chad is a great passing QB when needed to be. He also has great recievers. I feel they will prevail once again against the odds set out against them. As i said in the boone/kenton predictions people just continually underestimate the men from simon kenton. It will be a close game similar to boone.
