Very!! Wonder if this is not part of D Hilton's srategy to cause Boyle to overlook them to some exent. I really do not feel KC improved that much since prior game.

Hilton wouldn't risk a playoff game to have someone hopefully overlook them, he's the kind of coach that plays head to head and then gets his team prepared for the next game. Trickery isn't going to win the game this friday, practice and hard work will. You should give KC credit where credit is due. They played a tough game.

HAHAHA! I can guarantee that no coach in the state of KY would risk trying to fool a future opponent by narrowlingly winning in the last minutes of the game. KC was up 14-13 with 4 minutes to go and BC had a 3rd and long and a great run caused BC to get a perfect setup on the 5 yard line. To think Hilton orchestrated this is a smack in the face to KC and to Hilton. Why would he risk almost getting beat?

Yea Guess I should!

Many of you are having a hard time understanding. This was not a case of KC being fired up and playing over their heads in one exceptional game. They really are this good.

KC had a great teamthis year they didn't get the recognition they deserve.

Good year KC!:thumb:

Great job Central!! Not taking anything away from Central, but this could be a sign that Bell is not quite as dominant as advertised. Their suspect schedule may catch up to them when they run into Boyle County.

Boyle does not overlook anyone, my dear friend.;)

Congrats on the win.:thumb:

I don't think that you know what you are talking about on Bell's suspect schedule. Who has Boyle Co beat besides Lex Cath twice. After Boyle played Lex Cath the first time the didn't have anybody on their schedule until the played Lex Cath last week. They have played a Rockcastle or Knox Central team this year at all. Again congrats to KC you had a great year.

Bell played a better schedule than what you think. KC and Rock twice both have been in the top 5 of 4A at one time. Whitley Co. is 12-1 and hosting Highlands this week. Sheldon Clark was #3 or so in 3A when they made the trip to Log Mtn. Tates Creek got dismantled by Bell but they were a decent team. Played Lafayette and Scott Co. to mention a few pretty close. ;)

I don't see any team on Boyle's schedule like Bell from a defensive and offensive standpoint??? I maybe missing something??? Most appear to be spread finesse teams.

Bell is easily the best team Boyle will play all year, but we went undefeated against Fayette County this year with the exception of Bryan Station and Tates Creek. We demolished Dunbar who barely lost to Tates Creek. We beat Mercer, who lost to Rockcastle 10-6, and Danville is always a tough game regardless of what the score says. The same teams that were on our schedule this year beat us last year. I think it is a case of us getting better and those teams also being down, but they are normally tough opponents that had no answer for us this year.

I agree with this statement for sure. Seems alot of teams were have down years when the played Boyle or Bell in 2008.

I know Volunteer High from Tn was a very good team last year with 28 seniors 3 of which played D 1AA this year. This years version was not very good and Bell rolled.

Both teams face their toughest test this season. Should be a humdinger!

As far as Knox Central is concerned, ... oh how far they have come under Coach Mills. Those of us in the SEKY area know just how bad they were. He is doing it the right way and Knox Central is a MUCH better team with him at the helm than they were before. They always had talent, but he is getting talent to perform. Hats off to the Panthers. They should hold their head up high after this solid effort and near upset!
