Congrats to KC on a fins season, and to the Bobcats for advancing.

What Coach Mills and staff have done with the KC program is amazing. Last night's game was no fluke, they really are that good. They threw a few wrinkles at Bell last night that they weren't ready for such as featuring QB Cory Smith in a spread offense. The defense for both sides was awesome and the crowd looked to be SRO on both sides. The final score reflected the difference Merrick made with long field goals.

Pepper, you and the panthers should be proud. KC came up and gave us all we wanted last night and I will be the first to commend there efforts of play last night. I feel like it was a very good atmosphere and well played games. One that could have just as easily be swung the other way. :thumb:

I'm going to do a bit of lobbying now for KC to move up in the BGP rankings. I think if they're not ranked at least #5 in 4A, you guys haven't been paying attention. I actually think they are top 4.

After the showing last night I agree you would have to have them 4 or 5. Merrick was a huge difference in field postion and the 2 FG's. Also had 1 near miss from 49 I think??

At that time Knox was ranked number 8, but seeing how there were only 8 teams left in the playoffs this week, and they were beaten by the number 2 team in the rankings, I think the final BGP rankings were pretty close for Knox.

I believe that you are correct Ram. Knox should be ranked about number 8 they did give Bell a run for their money.

The opinions from Corbin mean little. Now that, that, is out of the way, KC played one great game. I knew all week we were in for a fight. Congrats to the KC team and their hard fought effort. I look forward to them being another power in the mountains in the forth coming years. They showed a lot of character, as did Bell in the game Friday night. Mills is a chip off the ole block. Good job KC & Go Bobcats!!!!!!

Very!! Wonder if this is not part of D Hilton's srategy to cause Boyle to overlook them to some exent. I really do not feel KC improved that much since prior game.
