Perfect North!!

Featured Replies

Just got back from Perfect North! It was amazing I love to snowboard! I was just wondering who out there likes to go to Perfect North and what you think of it?:dancingpa

I've never been to Perfect North.

I've been to Winter Place and Snow Shoe several times and Wisp twice. How does Perfect North compare to those ? It's in Indiana, right ?

Yeah its in Lawrenceburg, IN.

I cant wait to go this year. I went once last year for the first time in about 8 years and it was a blast.

I usually go skiing there once a month and will go tubing once a month too. A lot of fun.

I heard a blurb that this is the first time they have been able to open in November with as much snow as they have.

I blame it on that dang global warming thingy.

Anyone own their own ski's ?

I try to go skiing 3 or 4 times a winter and have always thought about buying my own set. Not really because I feel like I need a better set of ski's but because my foot is so big. I wear a size 15 and the ski boots usually only go up to a 13 or 14. I squeeze my foot in something that is a size or two small and the pain by the end of the day is pretty much unbearable.

Could I avoid buying the ski's and just use a pair of boots I bought myself with the resorts ski's or would that not work ?

Went to bonus opening day, great time. It was the first time ever opening before thanksgiving. Our high school has a ski club that goes 6 fridays in a row after christmas break. Ski clubs seem to be the big thing, there are numerous schools there on fridays.

I'm getting my pass as a Christmas present early:banana:.

It's a blast! Good family fun. We enjoy being outdoors and staying active during the winter. I recommend it!:thumb:

I've seen The Golfer take a spill or two there in the past couple of years. :sssh:

Perfect North doesn't even compare to places like Snowshoe(WV),Seven Springs(PA) and Holiday Valley(NY). It's nice because it's close but if you want to get some good slopes, you have to almost go to one of these places.

Thats how I got started skiing. Joined Ski club in Jr high and have been hooked since.

I'm trying to make a tirp to Snoeshoe if I can convince the wife, and that may be rough. The first and last time we ever went skiing together, she broke her nose within the first hour, and now she won't ski on any of the fake stuff.

Broke my ankle skiing last year. Might be a while until I get back on the sticks.

Just got back. Wow. Love the tubing and feel like a real man for doing it!!!
