Not sure If I can make this one or not. My Cousin Kevin "Bloody" Wilson ( you may have seen him on Ytube) will be coming in for Thanksgiving. He is the Aussie son of my Uncle Radcliffe, who moved overseas in the Arm Services years ago. I have not seen him in a long time and we have lots of catching up to do. I will go as far as taking the Hounds in a squeaker 23-21. If I can talk Kevin into braving the winter weather we will be there in person. You all have to remember it is summer in Australia so he is not prepared for this temperature. Should be a real Cat and Dog fight on Friday night regardless of who wins.

This P-burg team reminds of the 1985 12-2 Blackcat team that beat a pretty awesome Corbin team 27-7, so with that said I think the Blackcats will win at home 21-20.

Will be a fun game to watch. I am going with P'burg.

This has upset written all over it.

Prestonsburg 28-21.

Where is it going to be at?

Campbell Field

Corbin,Kentucky

Folks need to look at the brackets and see how things are set up this year.

The game is at Corbin.

Not sure if a Prestonsburg win could be considered an upset. I see the game as a "pick 'em". If you go by rankings I guess a Prestonsburg win would be considered an upset. Some consider a Corbin win an upset.......

I don't know much about Prestonsburg other than the fact they are 11-1. Common opponents scores are similar, give or take a few points for each team here and there.

How did Beechwood beat the Blackcats as soundly as they did?

P'burg had a couple close games late in the season that they should have won by a bigger margin, makes me wonder if they may have already peaked.

This game will be a heart-breaker either way.....

I will say one thing.........if you can't stop the run, you will not stop Corbin.

Prestonsburg, but it might even be overtime.

These 2 teams are very similiar. Both teams running backs are VERY good, strong power runners. The difference is going to be in the air, Prestonsburg can pass and will. Corbin has not passed much and I have seen them in 2 games. Corbin's defense does not guard real good against the pass either. I thought the game was going to be played at P-Burg but it is not and this will also play a factor in the game. I am still sticking to my prediction and saying Prestonsburg by 7, but it could go either way, Prestonsburg's strength of schedule has to be a lot better than Corbin's and this is the reason I am going with P-Burg, they have played a lot of good teams this year, Corbin's schedule is pretty weak compared to that of Prestonsburg. Another factor, look at both teams compared to Middlesboro. Prestonsburg put 20 points on a very good Middlesboro defense, Corbin 14 points. Good luck to both teams because the roads keeps getting tougher each week and I hope one of these 2 teams make it to Louisville.

I thought both teams schedules looked fairly weak. P'burg lost big to maybe the best team in 1A. Corbin somewhat dominated the 2nd or 3rd best team in 1A and dominated the #4 or 5 team in 4A, Knox Central. The Corbin/Middlesboro score is somewhat closer than the actual game played out. Our D was pretty tough. And Corbin/Middlesboro (IMO) is a top 5 rivalry in the state.

I fully expect a Corbin vs NCC semi game.

If it is NCC and Corbin, where will it be played?

Corbin

P'burg will be the hardest test Corbin has had in a while, they won't back down I'm sure, the hardnose hits from last week even the late ones should wake them up. Corbin 21 P'burg 12
