Teams look fairly even to me.

I took some time to compare stats against common opponents.

these teams have 5 common opponents:

Corbin 14 Middlesboro 7

Prestonsburg 20 Middlesboro 7

Corbin 311 total yards and allowed 166.

P'burg 227 total yards and allowed 130.

Corbin 30 Bath Co. 8

P'burg 40 Bath Co. 14

Corbin 369 total yards, allowed 132

P'burg 358 total yards, allowed 127

Corbin 23 Pikeville 15 (week 1)

P'burg 41 Pikeville 0

Corbin 339 total yards, allowed 352

P'burg 395 total yards, allowed 88

Corbin 53 Morgan Co. 0

P'burg 48 Morgan Co. 14

Corbin 142 yards, allowed 125

P'burg 348 yards, allowed 268

Corbin 48 Knott Co. 14

P'burg 55 Knott Co. 8

Corbin 266 yards, allowed 156

P'burg 411 yards, allowed 212

It doesn't appear that our JV stats are included for the Knott Co. or Morgan Co. games, or we had short field all night in both games.

Looking at what Prestonsburg did to Pikeville they have no problem stopping the run.

These teams look as evenly matched as you'll see.

I think the Pikeville comparison (the only one completely out of kilter) is a little misleading.

The Hounds made the long trip to play a Panther squad that was pumped up for the Pike Co. Bowl, whereas P-burg played them at home after Pikeville had been thoroughly softened up by Ashland, LexCath, and Belfry (Pikeville was scheduled wayyy over its head).

Though it was very unusual for Pikeville, the team that played P-burg quit in the 2nd quarter.

Just a feeling but something tells me this is a P-burg win by double digits. I'll take them 28 to 17!

I just hope Corbin plays hard and aggressive. Thats all that we as fans can ask for. If we win I hope we win with class and if we lose I hope that we show good sportsmanship, both on the field and in the stands.

I also hope that our zebra's this week have eyes.;) If they don't, then may we as fans still show good sportsmanship.

Just play hard guys and everything will be alright.:thumb:

Hey, does anybody know if this game will be available online? I have some family in Huntington, WV that can't make the trip but would like to see the game. Thanks.

I found someone who knew of a link to a live radio broadcast of tomorrows game with Prestonsburg and Corbin if you want to hear the game but can't attend in person.

YOU are the man, IM4 !!!

I have business in Cincinnati tomorrow through the weekend and can't make the game. The laptop is going with me now. You've just made my day !!!

Hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving...(and have had a nice nap)

Be safe P-Burg, good luck Hounds. I hope all players on the field play well and remain healthy. This will be a great mountain football game. Keep rolling Corbin.

Did Pburg leave early in order to rest and get a bite after the bus ride which is quite long? Good luck to them but no too much. For all of you Blackcat fans making the trip, be safe.
