November 5, 200817 yr BTW, these people are crazy. I live here and I wouldn't be that happy if the guy I liked won. Agreed. They have no idea how horrible these candidates are. I guess compared to their leaders, our's are golden.
November 5, 200817 yr I think it is great, maybe we will gain the admiration and respect of the world back. We seem to have lost it in the last several years. I couldn't care less what the world thinks about the US. They want to critize us and hate us but who do they come crawling to when they need something. America and Americans are the most generous in the world. Any time there is a real conflict the us takes care of it while the rest of world holds our coat. If the rest of the world is celebrate great, if not who cares.
November 5, 200817 yr I have no problem with many of these countries that are celebrating. However, ANY middle eastern countries that are celebrating should arouse suspician immediately. Many of the ME countries have hated the US for decades no matter who sat in the Oval Office. I have a feeling they aren't ready to suddenly sit down and have dinner with us just yet.
November 5, 200817 yr Agreed. They have no idea how horrible these candidates are. I guess compared to their leaders, our's are golden. That coupled with the fact we have a functioning Democracy. In countries like Kenya, Liberia (well essentially all third world countries controlled by tyrants) they assume the worst will happen and corruption will overrule the American vote.
November 5, 200817 yr I'm more concerned about what God thinks about the USA, than what the world thinks. Amen brother.:thumb:
November 5, 200817 yr I think it is great, maybe we will gain the admiration and respect of the world back. We seem to have lost it in the last several years. We only lost the respect when the liberals began to discredit Bush, simply to win back power in this country. Liberals will do anything to grab power, including dissing America.
November 5, 200817 yr I have no idea why I should be happy the world is celebrating for Obama. I find it impossible to believe "the world" wants what is best for the United States of America.

November 5, 200817 yr Not everyone is celebrating. That's a fact. A pretty obvious fact if you ask me .
November 5, 200817 yr We only lost the respect when the liberals began to discredit Bush, simply to win back power in this country. Liberals will do anything to grab power, including dissing America. Conservatives will do anything to grab power as well. I hope you realize that.
November 5, 200817 yr I have no idea why I should be happy the world is celebrating for Obama. I find it impossible to believe "the world" wants what is best for the United States of America. I find it very easy to believe much (certainly not all) the world wants what's best for the USA. We're pretty much Atlas, with the world on our shoulders. We keep it up, keep economies strong and hardly ever invade other nations... okay, well, we do a lot of good.
November 5, 200817 yr Like it or not, we ARE part of the world, NOT the world itself. I don't believe the scriptures promote political boundaries.
