November 2, 200817 yr I think right now Crabtree is better than Julito(sp?) Jones from Bama, but in 2 or 3 years Jones will be as good or better than Crabtree. Both are pretty similar players. Personally i really like Jones.

November 2, 200817 yr Crabtree has all the tools to make him the best reciever in the nation, He is the hardest running WR I have seen in College in a while. He is the best, He doesn't drop anything, runs good routes, and makes big plays.

November 2, 200817 yr Crabtree is #1. Bryant at OK State looks very good but have seen mostly just highlights of him. He had half of his teams receptions yesterday and something like 11 of the teams' 13 a few weeks ago. Teams have to be game-planning to stop him and still can't (the same can be said for Crabtree).
November 2, 200817 yr Top 5 IMO.. 1. Michael Crabtree - Tex. Tech 2. Dez Bryant - OK. State 3. Jeremy Maclin - Missouri 4. A.J Green - UGA 5. Eric Decker - Minnesota/Percy Harvin - UF Texas Tech is loaded with WR's, Crabtree, Lewis, Morris, and Britton are all play makers..

November 3, 200817 yr No, he's not the best and the only reason it's brought up is because of the play he made at the end of the game. Had he not made that catch we wouldn't be having this discussion. He's a good player and a really good WR but he isn't the best, and stat wise he isn't even the best in his conference. I like the WR's from Oklahoma St. and Percy Harvin. :laugh: :laugh:
November 3, 200817 yr Like GT said, he's easily the best, and it's a joy to watch him.....he's gone after this year, and you will see how good he is at the next level, he does a few things that absolutely seperate him from everyone else. He gets out of his routes very cleanly and effortlessly. He catches the ball with his hands, which is huge, and lastly, he runs varying his speed, which makes it so hard to get a gauge as to what kind of route he is running (it also makes a player "seem" faster)
