November 2, 200817 yr Who you got??? I say hands down Michael Crabtree is the best all around WR in college football. Good size, good speed, great hands, can go deep or across the middle, oh and he can make big plays too. Percy Harvin not too far behind Crab, but IMO Crabtree is hands down the best. So who do you have as tops, and who are some others you like?
November 2, 200817 yr Crabtree is a dandy. I'd say he the best playmaker strictly at the WR position. Harvin might be the best all around playmaker because UF moves him around so much. But you have to include Maclin and maybe Jones from Alabama or Bryant from Ok. State. Harrell sure isnt shy about his thoughts but its kind of hard to argue against them two right now
November 2, 200817 yr No, he's not the best and the only reason it's brought up is because of the play he made at the end of the game. Had he not made that catch we wouldn't be having this discussion. He's a good player and a really good WR but he isn't the best, and stat wise he isn't even the best in his conference. I like the WR's from Oklahoma St. and Percy Harvin.

I like the WR's from Oklahoma St. and Percy Harvin. I understand what your saying but the man does have a case. He has 60 catches and 14 touchdowns. If you want to bring stats into it then Harvin doesnt have any argument; he only has 6 touchdowns on 26 catches
November 2, 200817 yr I think Crabtree is the better wideout which is the title of this thread. I believe will also make a better pro reciever as well. He has size and great hands. Harvin is very versatile and a good reciever also just not as good as Crabtree.

November 2, 200817 yr FWIW, Crabtree is slated to go as the top WR in the NFL draft - top 10 pick. He won the award last season as the nation's best WR.

November 2, 200817 yr Personally, I think Crabtree is the best in the nation, but I would take Arrelious Benn over Harvin, and he's only a Soph.

Crabtree is without a doubt the best in the country, I don't see any other WR close to hime. He is having an amazing season..
