Congratulations Rams..... Lot closer than I thought it would be. West got their rears handed to them in a basket tonight by Fairview. They are not going to be very happy coming over next Friday night.

I agree, I honestly thought that Raceland would win by 3td's plus and Russell's defense played tough.

 

Raceland had 312 yards total rushing in this one. The Rams came out in the spread, nothing was going, went to the bone and ran the ball on Russell all night.

Great job Rams!! Russell played a very good football game. Raceland not aving one of their best games but able to get the "W". A sign of a good football team imo is to still win when they don't play their best football game. Russell has nothing to be ashamed of in this one.

 

I don't know how long it has been since Russell lost 3 in a row but it has been a while.

 

It was a great game,dont know how much better Raceland could have played if they didnt have a OFF NIGHT......LOL,THEY EVEN BROUGHT THE FIRE TRUCKS ALL THE WAY TO FLATWOOD'S. Raceland is a very good football team and good luck.Very proud of the Devil's,most fight i have seen out of them all year! :thumb:

Nice job by the Rams O-line and the defense made the plays when they had to. Hats off to Tate Preston who kicked a pressure field goal. It was great to see WR Thomas Watson come up big. Watson made two nice catches to keep the Rams drive going.

When did Raceland last beat Russell?

Solid high school football game. Some really ugly special teams play both ways at times tonight. Russell can't tackle. Personally, I thought Raceland would be stronger. Good luck to the Rams next week to finish unblemished for the regular season. Russell has an extra week to heal, especially #38 who was sorely missed on both sides of the ball.

I am not sure on the year, this series had around a 32 year gap in between games, just picking it up last season.
