If only Ram had let me sleep on his couch I wouldn't have had to make the long drive home.

I had the spare bedroom all ready for you, but you seemed in a hurry to get back to Belfry. You can sleep over next time.:D

Are they going to play again in 09?

There has been a new contract signed for a two year agreement (09 and 10).

Comments like this is why I dont have any respet for some Raceland posters....

I really had a lot of respect for the Raceland football program, but the way some of you guy's act is amazing. You have been congradulated on your win and told that Raceland is a very good football team and you still want to degrade everyone and brag how bad you could have beat Russell if you would have played your game.Well, i for one am sick of hearing about it and hope you have your regular quick exit from the playoff's!;)

This is the problem, imo, Wildcat Willy. There has been smack spoken from Russell fans since the pre-season. There have been posts such as , "I hope you come into our game undefeated so you have no excuses when we beat you." and so on. I think the intensity of the hype has gotten to some people ON BOTH SIDES and I think Raceland fans held their tongues until after the game and then let off a little steam. Russell has a great team and so do we. I realy hope that you don't mean your 'sour grapes' comment regarding the early exit in the post season.....we have always cheered for you in the playoffs and always want to see you carry the torch for our area. So, I hope you can find it in your Devil heart to cheer us on starting next week.

After watching the game, I am still questioning Russell's play calling in the 3rd quarter. They drove down and ran right down Racelands throat to score. Averaging over 8yds a carry. They hold Raceland to a 3 and out, and then run 3 terrible pass plays, when it looked like Raceland was sucking wind hard. They still hold Raceland again, and then again run 3 terrible pass plays. Why no power I in the second half when Raceland could do nothing to stop it in the first? I still feel if Bailey was in there Russell wins by 17 or more, he is that much of a difference maker on offense, plus he is one of the best tackler in the secondary, where Russell showed some poor tackling.

Seeing Ivan doing that play calling, makes me think some of the rumors Ive been hearing about him are true. I saw a few times Russell looked very confused on offense coming out of the huggle. I have heard from some Russell fans that Ivan has been calling plays that don't exist and never have in the history of Russell football, and just all in all something seems to be wrong.

Russell really needs David Bailey back in a big way. They have not won a game without him. I will say emotionally Russell looked much better than they did against Ashland, hopefully they can keep that up through the playoffs.

I think we have done all the damage we can do in this thread.

I wish Russell good luck in the playoffs and hope we can both be in Louisville in the near future and cheer each other on.

Until next year................
