I can't imagine any HS seniors being able to attend last night. Too bad, seemed to be a great atmosphere.

Think they skipped their walk thrus at their respective schools? Were most local kids? like I said, big time atmosphere conveyed on the telecast. I was impressed.

October 31, 200817 yr Ben Guidugli made some magical catches, and the Bulls recievers dropped routine throws and ran wrong routes. I counted one ... one designed rollout. Last year Matt would have fadded right and run around or through or passed over the defense. (I think they call that the spread option.) Why keep him in the pocket at all? He is not a pocket passer. I don't know what we're running now, but it's not the spread option. :irked: When Grothe called the first timeout in the second half, I turned to a UC fan behind me and said, "Watch. He'll get sacked the next play." Sure as shootin' he did. Has happened at least once a game this year. I think OC Greg Gregory is doing serious drugs. Other than that, Mrs. S and I had a great time.

October 31, 200817 yr That was really great what the UC player (Gilyard, not sure who) but it was the WR that ran into the little boy after making a TD catch, and after seeing the boy crying he went over and gave him a hug. I'm sure that made the little boy's whole year, because afterwards other kids asked him for his autograph, and he was even interviewed by Erin Andrews.

If you pay any attention to the gambling threads you knew that home teams on Thursdays are money. I believe that you were doubtful b/c of the QB situation, but you also knew it would be cold and you have been touting the UC defense for a while. I think even you thought they could pull it out at home w/ a good atmosphere and cold temps.
