Correct me if I'm wrong on all the details GT, but I believe Gilyard lost his scholarship or was kicked off the team and went from being practically homeless and working 3 jobs to pay to attend UC while playing football to eventually earning a full ride. He's the true definition of a role model. He has worked for EVERYTHING that he has gained during his time at UC. As far as the game, Pike and the Cats looked really good. A few turnovers but they still took care of business and the defense played great. Barwin and Nelms both had big games. Goebel continues to run the rock very well and as GT stated earlier, Guidugli had an amazing one handed catch that will likely make SC Top 10.

I've spoke to Mardy several times and he is one of the nicest and most polite young men I've ever been around. He has EARNED everything that he has today.
October 31, 200817 yr I was relieved when I got to the press box and heard Pike was good to go. Cats played very well and controlled the game from begining to end. Connor Barwin is going to go down as my favorite Bearcat athlete ever and Ben Guidugli made an AMAZING catch that should be one of the top plays on SC. Big, big win. On to the 'Eers... What are Barwin's chances at the next level, and on what side of the ball? Good win for the Cats. Gotta keep it going now.

October 31, 200817 yr Pike had a very nice game last night. As Palmer mentioned 50 times last night, he did play fast, which he didn't in the first half last week versus UCONN. As a UC fan, I wouldn't mind seeing him start the remainder of this year and next year. With his height, he can see over the line without a problem. He goes through his progressions very well. He throws a nice ball, and he is actually fairly mobile. He still makes some mistakes, but it was only his 4th start. Ben Guidugli almost made 2 great catches. He pulled down the left hand, one handed catch with a defender all over him. Then on the opposite side of the field, he almost did the exact same with his right hand.

October 31, 200817 yr I went to the game with swamprat and swamprat's boss and had a very good time. We had seats on the 50 yard line and Erin Andrews stood in front of us all night. Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes he gets you. Please tell me you took your camera!~!!! :devil:
