2.19 here around the Danville area.

Election is Tuesday, anyone really surprised? This will last through Christmas in order for Wal-Mart and retail to do really good(they would even if gas was 5 dollars a gallon), then prices jack up considerably after inauguration.

I have said it once, I will say it again, this has nothing to do with the election or public office in general. This is only because of the global recession.

We are all being teased, once the global economy picks up it will go right back up to the low 3.00 range is where I think it will hold steady.

By the way Walmart does very well in bad times because everyone combines trips to one shop stops. It's the stores in malls who are getting hit hard.

The government could have reduced prices a year ago. They chose not too!

The Democrats you mean.

Considering all of the holiday travelers, I would expect a rise in prices.

You might see an increase in prices in some areas a few days before the holidays, but we are now in, and will be for the next several months, the slowest time of the year for gasoline consumption.

One more reason you will see prices drop, at least for a while.

$2.38 here today at the "Head". Wish it would say ! ! !

I saw $2.03 in Lexington today...

We've all been brain washed.

I can still remember freaking out a little when it hit $2.00 a gallon. Now we consider that dirt cheap.

Paid $1.93 to fill up last night in Hamilton.

BP in Dry Ridge was $1.85 this morning & just dropped to $1.80.

Most oil analyst do not believe demand will return until 2010. Because the recession will last that long. We are going to get a long treat for all the wrong reasons.

You, and the analyst also didn't see if dropping much below $3.00 a galon either. I'm tired of guessing what oil is going to do and for how long, I'm just content with it doing what it has been as of late.
