October 27, 200817 yr I believe UK could go 3-1 in the last 4. At the same time I can see them going 0-4 as well. 3-4 would be my prediction as well (with Cobb at QB and without any other major injuries). I'm still sticking with an 8-win season :thumb:

Hopefully Cobb will continue to give that same spark that we've been seeing to the offense. I just wish Brooks would let him play the whole game this upcoming week but I won't question what Brooks is doing as he has really turned around our program these past few years.

I don't fault Brooks for making his decision - especially after Lyons was lost. Now its crunch time, he seems to have made the right decision to salvage a good season. We'll see how it starts this weekend.

October 27, 200817 yr So what happens if Cobb starts and UK still loses? We go to 5-4 with 3 games remaining.
October 27, 200817 yr So what happens if Cobb starts and UK still loses? Win or lose, if the offense can move the ball a little better, there is not much UK can do. They are too held back by injuries and depth.
October 27, 200817 yr  The rest of the season...What if he starts, and they don't win another game?
October 27, 200817 yr The rest of the season...What if he starts, and they don't win another game? I'm not sure what you are getting at. We miss a bowl, obviously. Cobb returns to WR next season regardless of what he does this year at QB IMO.
October 27, 200817 yr I'm not sure what you are getting at. We miss a bowl, obviously. Cobb returns to WR next season regardless of what he does this year at QB IMO. Without invaluable experience at the slot receiver position. This is the very reason why the coaching staff has been hesitant to make a quarterback change. Their hand has been forced.
October 27, 200817 yr To mirror some sentiments from other threads, why is UK do depleted at receiver. We all thought Louisville was in the same boat, but they seem to have turned the corner, with Dicky out, and Cobb at QB, nobody knows of any real viable WR UK has left, why is the position so thin?
