Who plays in the BCS championship, again?

Featured Replies

USC will play Alabama. Even though I dont want to see USC in the championship as the next guy. Sorry Slink but I just hate USC.

That's OK. Not many Trojan fans here in the Southeastern part of the U.S.

USC!!! Probably against Penn St. I feel Texas, Alabama will have a loss.

I found this on ESPN:

"Nittany Lions fans are understandably disturbed by this, having seen their team go undefeated five times under Joe Paterno and win a national title in only one of those seasons. But the message seems clear: Unless Alabama loses or the Texas-Texas Tech winner takes a loss later in the season, Penn State will be bound for the Rose Bowl instead of the BCS National Championship Game.":scared:

That would be fine, and USC would expose them for the frauds that they are.

Penn St. vs Florida/Alabama

It would be nice to see the SEC beat the snot out of another Big 10 team.:thumb:

You have no idea how hard I laughed out loud when I read this! I can just see you saying this!

By the way...I'm totally with you!!!

Penn State/USC

There is a lot of football left.

It's either going to be the Gators and Penn State or the Gators and USC. Gators win it all the best team maybe in the last ten years.

Texas Tech??:D

Florida is going to win the SEC and Penn State will lay an egg in one of there final games. Mark my word...Im saying the gators and whoever gets out of the Big 12

I don't think Alabama is going to make it. Nor is Texas Tech. I think Penn St. is in there. That leaves Florida, USC, and Oklahoma in the mix for the other spot (I think, incidentally, that those 3 are far and away the 3 best teams talent-wise). I think Florida will be the most likely choice given a SEC Championship, USC still needs Oregon St. to lose to win a Pac-10 title and Oklahoma needs others to lose to have a shot at a Big-12 title.

The two best all-around teams are Florida and USC (Oklahoma's "D" is suspect). Both of them play very high-powered offense, stifling defense, and explosive special teams. Both of them laid eggs against lesser early-season opponents and have blown everybody else out. I would love to watch an actual title game between those two teams.

Florida Penn St, Sticking with it.

Who knows. I'd say UF and USC probably win out. Along with Penn State. Bama is due for a loss, Texas Tech looked great in the first half last night, but they have a tough road ahead. I think when they can run the ball they have the best offense in the country although UF and Oklahoma have more speed. TT's line is big and nasty.

Admiralstrue, UF the best team in the last 10 years? UUMMMM NOPE.... The year USC won in the championship game, they were better. And the 2001 Canes were the best college football team of all-time. C'mon Sean Taylor was a back up on that team along with Willis MacGahee, Frank Gore, Roscoe Parrish and Kellen Winslow....BACKUPS!!! UF is perhaps the fastest team of all time though, I will give you that.
