I looked it up myself he is #88.. I would of never guessed that in a million years..8 is the coaches son.. He was very athletic and caught the ball well..

 

HHS usually can keep the D1 guys in check. 88 did drop a TD catch that would have got LC on the board. One TE that HHS has faced in the past few years that truly stoodout was Elder's Kyle Rudolph. He was a man amongst the boys.

I dont think anybody in the state of KY can beat Highlands. Even St.X or Trinity!!!

 

I don't think they would win 6A, but they are far and away the class of 5A...

It's good to see Highlands with everyone back and healthy. Now they can just oil the machine and keep it rolling.

Congrats to Highlands on the big win. I haven't gotten to see Lex Cath play this season, however I talked with a few people close to the program who had scouted Highlands a few weeks ago and thought this game could get pretty ugly. I actually think they were happy with the outcome considering it sounded like Lex Cath hung tough but simply didn't have enough to run with the Birds. While Lex Cath might not be at the level of the Kentucky elite right now, they should still be difficult in 4A.

Agreed. Both Letton boys play very physical football (particularly the sophomore...Nate? He's a very fine football player, particularly for a sophomore). Number 19 is a heck of a good football player also. Nice size and the kid has nice speed, running down Crawford, which is no easy feat.

 

 

I spoke with Coach Letton briefly after the game. He's a heck of a nice guy and a dang good football coach.
