I'll take the Ramblers by 35. I'd like to see another Iron Man award from Bret Denton this game. Raceland just needs to avoid the big play from Paintsville. I think they'll do so.

I know what you mean. We are a team without an offense, or with every offense, depending how you look at it.

 

The spread, Wing T, Power I, Wishbone, you may see it all when you play Raceland. That makes it very hard to prepare for a team, when you don't what offense you are going to see. I like it.

I agree with Painter, the focus can be lost by repeatedly hearing that the Raceland players have to be focused. And, in my opinion, not playing focused in any game is the hall mark of a team's down fall. I think Raceland, in many ways are staying self-motivated. And, that is what it is going to take for continued success. You have to come out and play hard and motivated no matter who the opponent is.

 

I, also, agree with JC Alumni 76, the line play in this game, and almost every game, with decide a lot. Raceland's line has to take control of every game. The Raceland season will rise and fall with the Raceland OL/DL. Raceland can only go as far as the OL/DL will take them.

With all that said, I expect Paintsville to come into Raceland with the intention of derailing Raceland's perfect season. I look for Paintsville to play hard and kick, scratch, and claw to do everything they can to win this game.

I am a big Paintsville fan and I hope they can pull the upset. They have had two weeks to prepare for this game so I think they will be ready but flat out Raceland is better.

Injury update. We have everyone healthy except for Tolliver and Hamilton. Jones has been released to full contact (by me:thumb:) and any lingering football injuries will be able to taped and sucked up for Homecoming week.
