If i am not mistaken,it usually is a good match up and Paintsville has came in and won last couple times.I believe that is the fact's. :thumb:

The simple fact is: Raceland has to treat this game like every other game. You have to prepare, come focused, execute your game, and put the game away as early as possible.

 

This game is no different then any other game, you have come to play and win. Then move on to the next game.

 

Championship teams do not play up then play down, they play full speed, no matter who the opponent is. Raceland has to play at, or above, their ability every week and this is no different then any other week. Come out and play the game the way we play the game and TCB.

Let's try to keep this and the following game on track then we can talk Russell. Raceland has to come ready to play and take care of business no matter the opponent! Now, for the last part of your post.....as you, Ram, myself along with others have stated this Raceland team has a good chance of being a very special team. To do that requires playing every play of every game no matter who is lined up against you in the same way. That is with Raceland Ram Football!...staying focused, playing hard and leaving it all out on the field every time out.

Rams......There is NO OTHER game on your schedule right now other than the Paintsville Tigers! Those Tigers would love nothing more than to beat you at your house, on your homecoming as well as to hand you your 1st loss of the season. Should you come out with anything else on your mind than the football game and Paintsville then that is exactly what will happen. Next week isn't here yet and the last 6 games have no bearing on this game.

I have this in "Paintsville Blue" bc that is all that I want you thinking about....not who the homecoming queen is, not the dance, dinner or any of the other stuff that will be happening this weekend.............Keep ALL of your Focus on Paintsville, nothing else!

Yes, those are the facts and I, too, expect a close game. I think the exception most have with what you have opined is that Raceland will start playing "tight" because they are 6-0. This team is very experienced and well coached and for us around the team, the thought of them playing anything other than the way they have to date is mind boggling. We are currently #2 and Paintsville is #12 and it should be a great game.

 

It usually happens to most teams the deeper they get into there season not wanting the streak to end,and i didnt even say i thought Paintsville would win this game.I stated it may come down to has the ball at the end.I expect a very good and hard hitting game from both teams.Some people like to read things to say what they want to hear.Going to venture down off the hill and watch this game myself.

The Raceland-Paintsville game is much closer in distance while the Russell-Simon Kenton game will likely be much closer on the scoreboard. I can't wait to read Wildcat Willy's scouting report on the Rams, though, after he watches them in person this week!
