Hey now...some of us keep our Russell "fanaticism" confined to the correct threads. And some of us Russell fans take a reasonable approach to commenting on other games...such as seeing that this one shapes us to be an obvious Raceland blowout.

Ram players... As has been reported on this thread, Paintsville has won four of the last six games between Raceland and Paintsville.

Paintsville also OWNS us with a 24-15-1 advantage. I remember a couple of years that Raceland was "favored" over the Tigers (something like this season :sssh:) and Paintsville came in our house a flat out handed ours back to us.

 

Just a few things to think about when you are reading all of your predictions and press clippings. I have put this in Paintsville blue just for you to think about

 

Come Friday night it will be time to concentrate the entire game on your assignments, keys and the game plan that the coaches have put in place for this week. The best game plan on earth is usless if it is not executed.

 

Lets go out Friday night, play each play, leave it all out on the field and Open Up Another Can of Orange Crush :ylsuper:

Well said Oldrambler, Paintsville has beat us several times when they shouldn't have. To stop that from happening again, Raceland has to play focused and TCB.

Your logic and/or reasoning for your assesment doesn't match up with the reality of the situation. That's why people are scratching their collective heads. Nobody cares (or is upset) if you don't like (or root for) the Rams, but at least be realistic. The facts don't lie, & you have been presented with plenty. As the expression goes, "you can't see the forest for the trees."

Yes, those are the facts and I, too, expect a close game. I think the exception most have with what you have opined is that Raceland will start playing "tight" because they are 6-0. This team is very experienced and well coached and for us around the team, the thought of them playing anything other than the way they have to date is mind boggling. We are currently #2 and Paintsville is #12 and it should be a great game.

The fact is Raceland went into Paintsville last year and waxed the Tigers 54-30, & could have scored alot more if they had wanted to. The Rams will never run up the score.
