October 5, 200817 yr Oh wait, you must be one of those Life long Dodger fans in KY:lol: Nope, nice try though....
October 5, 200817 yr All this talk about the Cubs choking and such really does a disservice to the Dodgers, IMO. The Dodgers line-up hit top to bottom, many with RISP and 2 outs. Their right handed power pitchers were absolutely dominant and their set ups and closers did the jobs as well. The Cubs were beaten by a better team, hands down. Several of you that have gloated over the Cubs loss and still have your team in it might not want to be so smug. That Dodgers team is a heckuva team and I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see them win it all. They played pretty much flawless baseball over 3 games. Now we will see if they continue it. I think they will handle either the Phils or the Brewers pretty handily in the NLCS.
October 5, 200817 yr The same team that has been since I was in the 8th grade....Red Sox Of course, his eighth grade year was 2004.
October 5, 200817 yr I guess I need to start rooting for the team I want to see get beat. I was rooting for the Cubs because I'm a huge Sweet Lou fan, and I would honestly love to see the Cubs fans be able to celebrate a World Series title. I felt the same away about the Red Sox before they won their 1st title in decades. I hate to see any fans suffer so much. I'm very passionate about my sports teams, and even though I know it's nothing compared to everyday life, I can't imagine going my whole lifetime without my favorite teams winning a championship. Hopefully you Cubs fans on here will get to enjoy that someday. I can promise you that nobody will be happier for you than I will.
October 5, 200817 yr Of course, his eighth grade year was 2004. Well at least my fanhood started at age 5
October 5, 200817 yr The Cubs bring thousands of arrogant fans into GAB acting like they are back to back champs... not. Its not a shot at you Rocket but most Cubbie fans are similair to UK bball fans.
October 5, 200817 yr How did they do that? Probably because they were the favorite to win and they didn't win a single game. They had the pitching, the hitting and everything this year. I'd say fans are frustrated and not loving them at the moment. I was hoping they'd force a game 5 anyway.

You should blame your own fan base.

October 5, 200817 yr He should blame Cincinnati fans for Chicago fans being arrogant? I'd be interested to hear the explanation behind that one. Way to misconstrue that statement. I said the Cub fans wouldn't be at GABP if Reds fans attended their own home games. He was complaining about the presence of Cub fans at Reds games, acting like they are back to back champs.
