Alabama 17 UK 14

Featured Replies

Well by that token, the field goal should be the play of the game. That literally won it for them.

If you think that wasn't one of the biggest plays in the game, well then I really don't know what to say.

You do know that the SEC has a tournament at season's end don't you?

Yeah in Basketball.

Bama at #10???

Let me remind you that Bama has never trailed through 6 games and that included Clemson and UGA... Bama simply overlooked UK. They are definitely a top 5 team.

That's taking away from the game that UK played. If Micah Johnson had played Coffee probably wouldn't have had nearly as big a day and if UK recovers the fumble near Bama's goal line then the TD pass to Ford ties it. Lots of IFS there but UK has a legitimate SEC defense and the score wasn't a fluke. Alabama is top 5 team but UK is very good as well. Not top 5 but good enough that they can play anyone close.

Gary Danielson said at the end, that the Cats were good enough to beat anybody at home.

I'm guessing he meant anybody in the SEC, because I hope he didn't mean anybody in the entire country..

Why? They just played the #2 team in the country to a 3 point game on the road. Is Oklahoma that much better than everyone else?

Bama has 294 rushing yards to UK's 43

Bama also had 49 rushing attempts to UK's 20.

Just saying, there are plenty of talented teams in the country with HIGH powered offenses who could pass on Kentucky, something Bama couldn't do today..I am not taking anything away from UK's defense because they played one heck of a game, but just to many talented teams in the nation to say they could beat anybody..

That's what I meant...I'm just frustrated and now trying to do homework.
