October 9, 200817 yr Brother-In- Law gave me the tape last nite but way too busy with wife's mom in the hospital and Momma still isn't driving so its still Yogi and Boo Boo. (she hasn't driven since may and people comment when you see her you see me, just like Yogi/Boo Boo) Now when I watch it do I bring up every call that wasn't made/made wrong, or just the one on the TD run? You people know football, if y'all tell me the hold was there I believe you, but thats not my point. Calls are missed and it happens a lot in sports, you deal with it because you will get some too. I played all my life and guess what? I've umpired/ref and made a few myself. Thats part of sports. I hope we are still somewhat buddies on this, but rememeber I have two kids named after the Coach and prints not in my basement but living room wall and I'll defend this team when I see fit to.
October 10, 200817 yr I was at the game and have watched the tape. Holding or not, the critical error was McClinton getting sucked up too close to the line, when Coffee cut back no one was there. The hold(or non hold) did not create the touchdown, it was the missed assignment. Bottom line is Bama is a better team. We were fortunate to be as close as we were. I take a lot of positives from this loss. To go to their place(they were ranked #2, the hightest since 1993 I think) with their fans really into the game and be in it to the point where there was an actual chance to win at the end was more than anyone could have hoped for. Bama was supposed to win this game. This was a great game in which to build on. Also, virtually all our experiences with Bama fans were very positive.:ylsuper:
