I think you mean Johnson or Pittman from Holmes as Arrez has already graduated.

If your going to list Josh Whitaker or Tate Cox. You have to list Kidd from Hazard. To me he's better than both these guys. Put Kidd on my team any day.

When i have seen Penny play I have been somewhat impressed by his ability, but he hasn't really shined. I saw him in the junior/senior all star games this year and he didn't seem to get anything done. Now, taht being said that isn't a good format to judge talent, but in the other 3 or 4 times I have seen him play I liked him, but did not think he is as good as a lot of the players I for one had in front of him.

 

Also, Henderson graduated from Holmes last year.

Sorry about Hnederson, don't know what I was thinking. Penny had 13 points and I think 7 rebounds in that all star game. I don't think he as good as some others as far as college prospects. Because he really doesn't have 1 position. With that being said in a high school game he is a 20 and 10 man every night.

Russ Middleton will be thier best player this year. Wether he is a top 10 player in the state remains to be seen. IMO, he'll have to have help getting there.

In the game at Lexington Catholic I don't remember him doing anything really. Hes a nice player, but not as good as a lot of other players in the state IMO.

I think the biggest thing with Cosby is he is very experienced. he knows how to play. And hes physically mature. I really don't think hes as good as Ricardo Johnson, Ge'lawn Guyn, and Chad Jackson and I don't think he has as much upside as those guys. That being said he is a nice player and is getting D-1 offers for a reason.

Just some guys I left off my original list that I am very impressed by are: Some of them could end up being top 10 or 20 players IMO.

 

Barrett Meyer (very good high school guard

Donovan Sims (has a big upside)

Deshawn Thomas (one of the best guards in Louisville)

Jeremiah Johnson (Ricardo's brother, hes not hardly on the level with his bro, but very good. It will be very interesting to see how he develops).

Madison Johnson (very heady player for Corbin, I really enjoy watching him play)

Shawnta Zachary (3 sport star for Bell Co. He is probably one of the better high school athletes in the state as far as just being good at everything).

Josh Sliedel (Spelling?) (A very good scorer for North Laurel).

Matt St. Johns (probably the best big man in the mountains).

Justin Jones (I expect big things for him at Hazard this season).

Josh Crawford will be back to his old self and make a push towards the top of the rankings....you heard it here first.

He actually has a long way to go to get anywhere near this kind of discussion (top ten in state)
