September 30, 200818 yr I know we have these threads from time to time, like what brought you to BGP and so on. I'm sure mine was probably high school basketball, but as others have said, there is SO MUCH on this site. I think it was a while before I started posting on something other than high school basketball. I have been online for 10 years and I can't recall any other message board/community that is so much fun to be a part of. :thumb:
September 30, 200818 yr I'm sure it was a post about CovCath JV Basketball in which I made an offhand reference of how awesome I was at basketball, till I realized (about post #10) that posting about yourself is THE lamest thing that one can do. Then I stopped posting for a while and just read, and then Fastbreak and I got into a heated argument about a statement by the Pope, and I have been hooked to P&R since. What a long, strange journey it has been
September 30, 200818 yr I remember. I had a question regarding 8 man football. I have never had an 8 man football question since that time.
September 30, 200818 yr I joined in 2002 around the time of the Trinity-St.X game and that is all I can tell you.
September 30, 200818 yr I'm pretty sure my first post was erased for violating a rule and I quickly earned my first suspension lol
September 30, 200818 yr I joined before the Bardstown-Mayfield semi-state game in 2005, it wasn't my first post, but within my first 10 I did a "Night Before Christmas" poem about how we were going to beat Mayfield using all the names of the Bardstown players. Toothpick or westsider might remember. And, of course, I didn't get my wish.
September 30, 200818 yr As I think back, it was probably about a Mason County football game. I was referred to the site by one of the players. It wasn't long after that that I received my first suspension.
September 30, 200818 yr It was either about how the Raiders were ready to make a rise to the top in the NFL or how Tubby Smith was primed to win five more national titles at UK.
