I don't expect UK to win as Bama has been one of the most impressive teams in the country thus far. I will be interested to see how competitive UK can keep it. Anything within 10 would be a plus for the Cats.

Can't wait for this one I know their is a slim chance of beating them but this is why they play the game. I will be making the trip for this game I hope that this will be a close game and the Blue and White keep in respectable. Go Big Blue!!!!!

No way this will be game day. They won't have a gameday game with Bama playing on back to back weeks and they won't have the game be a Bama game for the 3rd time in 6 weeks!

I'll be sure to be watching this one.

And you'll be rooting for ?????

I believe ESPN will be at Athens this Saturday, so back to back might be out, but if the Cats get by WKU who I have winning in a huge upset....Toppers 20-17 in OT and we can squeeze by the mighty Dawgs ESPN might show up.

Dawgs will beat us up and that will help the Cats coming into the game at Tuscaloosa...Dawgs 31-17.

On the Cats/Bama game y'all look for us, we will be dressed out in Bama stuff right in the middle of the Big Blue.

I've seen every game for us and the last three have been Pay Per View ( I have a very understanding wife). Our D is very quick but awful young and our QB looks all-world on one play and then freshman high school the next. Running backs we use four and they each have different strenths. Outstanding in place kickers and punt/kickoff returns. Probaby the best in the nation in punt returns.

We can talk more next week.

There is no way WKU beats UK.

I'll be in Bama for this one. Should be a great tailgate. Anyone else going down?

Why do a lot of you all think we will get our butts kicked? I really think our defense will do just fine against the Alabama offense, which is not really to great IMO. It will just depend on our offense if we can not turn the ball over, and maybe find away to get some points.

I don't think our offense is nearly as far along as it should be to play Alabama. And as for our D, it'll make some big plays, however Alabama's offense can be preety explosive. I've watched them play this year a few times and I just don't see UK having the horses to keep up. As much as I want them to.

I've been on some Alabama boards and they all are a little uneasy about the game with UK. Most of them acknowledge now that UK isn't the doormat of the SEC like they used to be and are now a threat.

A lot of them think with the game this week against Georgia, they might get banged up and have some key guys out against UK. Also they say if they do win against Georgia, they might have an emotional let down against UK in addition to any injuries they sustain. In short, they think this is a trap game for them.

And personally, after looking at the situation, I think we are catching Alabama at a great time where we do have a chance to knock them off. I'm not saying is probable that we will, but its possible. If we played Alabama before they take on Georgia, I don't think we could hang with him. This game is set up just right for us, let us see what happens.

Hadn't given much thought to the fact that Bama could be a little beat up. If that's the case I could see if being enough to give UK a good shot at the W.

Typical fan I guess. Will support them against the easier team but always against them when the bigger teams arrive. A true fan always roots for their team and picks them to win, especially when it's against a tougher team on national tv.

Why can't a true UK fan be honest and say that Alabama should win easily but still hope that UK can pull it out? That makes no sense that a true fan has to put his blinders on no matter what.

It's not just about UK. And there is a difference of being a fan of Pikeville college and them playing Florida or something. I mean UK is not the horrible football team they used to be they are a pretty good team and still do not get respect even from their own fans.

UK is like 17-6 over their last 23 games with wins over Clemson, Florida State, Louisville (twice), LSU, Georgia. I mean come on guys.

I really don't know what your point is but this isn't the same team from last year, you have to have an offense to upset a top 10 team. Yes they have a pretty decent defense but I will be more than surprised if they score more than 17, and even that seems to be pushing it.
