September 23, 200818 yr How in the world does the worst team in football almost beat the Giants at home and in overtime? :creepy: The Bengals are bad, but they are not the worst team in football.
September 23, 200818 yr The Bengals are bad, but they are not the worst team in football. Kansas City and St. Louis are battling it out for that title.
September 23, 200818 yr The Bengals are bad, but they are not the worst team in football.Maybe, but they sure have looked like the worst, I can't think of any team that much below them right now.
September 23, 200818 yr Kansas City and St. Louis are battling it out for that title.Bengals are right there.
September 23, 200818 yr Bengals are right there. Being in far West Kentucky I have the pleasure (or displeasure) of having to watch every St. Louis and Kansas City game. Having seen the Bengals twice, there is no way they are as bad as these teams. If between them they win 8 games, I will be more than shocked.
September 23, 200818 yr Bengals are right there. Check the scores of the games and the quality of competition. The Bengals would beat either of those teams with ease IMO.

It remains to be seen, but right now, they're an awful team, I hope Sunday was a move in the right direction to start being competitive. Edited September 23, 200818 yr by Run To State

September 23, 200818 yr Bengals are right there. I disagree. I think the Bengals proved on Sunday they can play a decent game.

Sorry, but I never understood the logic behind a "second favorite team". Can someone explain to me how one likes two teams?
September 23, 200818 yr How in the world does the worst team in football almost beat the Giants at home and in overtime? :creepy: The Giants have never really been a team to blow out "bad" teams. The St. Louis game two weeks ago was an exception.
September 23, 200818 yr The Giants have never really been a team to blow out "bad" teams. The St. Louis game two weeks ago was an exception. You root for them when they are playing anyone but your favorite team. For example, in the P&R forum, I root for Habib to win every argument, except when he is against me.
September 23, 200818 yr Sorry, but I never understood the logic behind a "second favorite team". Can someone explain to me how one likes two teams? Kind of wondered that myself. Bengals are my team. Now when watching two other teams play, I may be rooting for one to win for various reasons, but I do not follow any team besides Cincinnati.

Now when watching two other teams play, I may be rooting for one to win for various reasons, but I do not follow any team besides Cincinnati. I root for the Packers when they aren't playing the Giants, simply because my cousin is a big Packers fan. However, they are not my 2nd favorite team. If they are playing the Giants or if a win for them somehow affects the Giants...I want them to lose.
