I've seen all of Montgomery's games, I've seen one of Boyd's,nowhere did I say I had seen Estill or Bath play live. I've listened to them on the radio and have friends who have watched them. Oh and Montgomery's first game was on a Saturday, remember? The senior class at Montgomery had at least 25 on the freshman team, what does the 8th grade have to do with anything???? I was talking about since they reached high school.

 

I'm glad you are so strident in your defense of your team, but this is an opinion site and I am entitled to my opinion, especially when it's based on factual data. I know they lost Groves, Hendrix, and Rash AFTER 8th grade.

 

If you want to support Montgomery say something positive and stop waiting around for me to make one negative comment. I've noticed you never said anything after all of the positive comments I've made about Montgomery or anyone else who comments and watches several teams. Geez.

Since MC was at Woodford that week, I assumed you probably didn't attend the MC game. Again, accept my apology for misunderstanding your earlier post.

 

On a Bath Co. game thread you did say you listened to it on the radio, but I don't know of a radio station for Williamsburg or Bath that a person could pick up in Paris, KY. But I could be wrong about that one too, but I don't think I am. If so, I certainly apologize for that as well.

 

We are glad to have you as a fan at MC too. Please keep posting the positive comments. And, understand there is no good reason to offer congratulations on posting positively.

 

I do think fans get excited and just drop post on all the threads and opinions and sometimes facts do get lost in peoples emotions. But, please don't be offended for having your comments questioned. I think based on the above quote alone you can agree with that. It didn't seem reasonable.

Agreed, those stats are deceiving. Hackworth is the man for M.C. IMO he doesn't get the ball in his hands enough. Heck I would direct snap it to him on occasion and see if he can make the corner.

Good question Painter, yes Hackworth plays defensive back. And to be honest I thought he did carry it a few times against Woodford but I could be wrong, that game was out of hand pretty fast, he got banged up, the quarterback Dotson was running the ball well etc. Ryan is still playing on a sprained ankle but he practiced yesterday and is good to go against Ashland. He's a great kid and a heck of a player. I'll be interested to see how he does against Ashland's D which I've heard is pretty stout.

And for the record I'll have to go on what friends tell me since I won't be able to make this game.

The station out of Owingsville actually came in on my truck on the way back from Bourbon to answer an earlier question. I've seen Boyd's J.V. play twice and varsity twice, the rest comes from family and friends in Ashland.

I do stand corrected, I have seen Montgomery 3 of 4 games this year. My mistake. I listened to the Woodford game on the radio.

Again, if anyone feels that I have "mislead" them, I apologize, I don't think any of us on here are experts, it's just an opinion site.

Thanks for the info LRCW...I like the Tomcats chances if it's a wet field, but lets hope it doesnt contribute any more to fumbleitis.

I'll go with Ashland in this one, 30-20.

It's an away game, and the Tomcats are coming off an emotional win over my Red Devils.... I think the coaches have to make sure that there is no let down. That being said, I predict Ashland loses in a close, hard fought contest.
