CovCath travels to Caketown to take on archrival Highlands Friday night. Both teams are coming off impressive district wins.

Let's hear some talk!!!!

I wonder if Josh Conner will be suiting up for this game??? It should be around now that he can resume playing, if the healing went according to plan.

I have a feeling that this game will be a high-scoring affair. Highlands has not had to face a passing attack anywhere near as good as CCH possesses. Plus, CCH's defense has been pretty suspect and HHS' offense has looked good.

Will Conner be ready?

Unless ICE-man all of a sudden becomes really fast, Highlands will have their way with him in the backfield next friday. Look for the Birds to put extreme pressure on the QB next week. Score will be 28-10 at half with the Birds tacking on 2 more scores in the 2nd half. Final HHS 42-17

This will be ugly. Dale may not let up. Birds with a shut out 56-0

UGLY!!!! :thumb::thumb::thumb:

I'd say HHS by 21 to 28 pts. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope to see PVS out wide with Collinsworth on him. That will be a great matchup.

Speed will be a problem for CCH. I'm very concerned about the deep ball which IMO is Tony G's best pass and HHS' best pass play. NC was able to get open deep too many times.

Big week for the Colonels and the staff. It would be nice to get some redemption after last year's finale.

HHS 49

CCH 14

Too many weapons for the Birds.

HHS 38

CCHS 17

Highlands by at least 35. I do not think Cov Cath scores in this one

I don't think that will hold up in this game. Home field is worth a touchdown; but this being rivalry week is probably worth two for both sides. The Birds' talent will have to do the rest.

Note to the Birds - Never forget what happened when the Colonels came to YOUR HOUSE two years ago. Remember how that night felt, and remember how the season ended. If you don't remember, ask the seniors--they do. Don't let it happen to you.

This is your house...your Bird Nest...your game! Don't take anything for granted, and never let up. Win this game and build upon it to be even better in the next.

One game at a time--all the way to Papa John's!

As a CovCath former who liked to mix it up a lot, I am wishing I could get out there. But I have faith CCH's team will be ready. There is no doubt they are a huge underdog, but I hope they all play like they think it is their last game.

That being said, HHS 45, CCH 20.

If I wasn't going to the Jeff Dunham show at THE BANK of Kentucky Center I'd definitely be at this game. It should be an exciting one.

Id take Highlands 50 something to 7. Guidugli will come out firing, and if Conner does come back it will be a mess for the Colonels. Highlands will be way too fired up and quick for CovCath. I see this game being like the playoff game last year, lots of quick scores for Highlands.
