What Is Your Favorite Soup

Featured Replies

With a chill in the air these last few mornings it has me thinking of mommas home made soup.

What is your favorite soup?

My favorite is potato!! served with good ol' buttermilk cornbread. Homemade vegetable beef served with a cheese or peanut butter sandwich is a close second.

1st is Italian Wedding Soup, followed by my own homemade chicken noodle soup. I love my homemade beef vegetable soup with some burgandy wine, too.

Corn Chowder

Bonefish has really good Corn Choweder

I like really good Tomato.

French Onion is great.

I love chilled soups too, but I lean more towards a fruit bisque and away from some of the veggie chilled soups.

I'm a freak for good soups, and will usually cook up a pot a week during the fall/winter months.

My personal favorite is a good seafood gumbo, but I can never get the roux right.

I'm best at making chili, vegetable beef, and bean soup. Occasionally I hit it right on a broccoli cheddar soup. Love French onion soup, but screwed it up both times I made it.

My dad makes a pretty good cream of asparagus soup. Mom's chicken soup is fantastic.

Love a good clam chowder and lobster bisque, and really fell for the fish chowder they make up in Maine. Potato soup is a fave as well.

White chili, tomato, and potato are the favorite in my house.

Homemade vegetable soup

Another of my favorites is Soup Du Jour. I'm lucky in this regard because all my favorite restaurants serve it every time I come in. ;)

Larosa's French Onion is hands down one of the best soups I've ever had.

Beef and Noodle, no onion and no celery.

Homemade Chicken Noodle.

Homemade - very tasty with some french bread or even the little bread bowls from panera scooped out. Very easy to make!
