You didn't hear me over hyping that Sooners team because I didn't think they were as good as the hype. This time, I'm convinced...

UC's D is as good as any in the country and OU demolished them. Why do I feel the UC D is that good? Because I've had 5 NFL scouts tell me so...

 

If the best were simply based on NFL prospects, USC would be working on the longest winning streak in college football history and probably wouldn't have had a handful of games decided by less than 10 points...

 

Oklahoma has played in 4 BCS Bowl games since 2003 and the only one they weren't dominated in was against Boise State. They're 0-4...the average margin of loss was 16 points. I've seen this song and dance from the Sooners before...until they prove it in a big game vs. someone outside the Big 12, I'll be skeptical.

 

Just my opinion...I respect yours and you may be proven correct. At this point, I need more than what I've got to be convinced that the best title game won't be USC vs. Georgia, LSU or Florida (if they can get there).

Actually, I'm a Southern Cal fan, so I'd prefer OU in the title game. I enjoyed that 55-19 beat down almost as much as last week's "showdown" against Ohio State. I would enjoy seeing it again.

Because I watched Georgia look very unimpressive against South Carolina (who is simply not very good). I have yet to see a SEC team that could score with USC or Oklahoma...

 

The games on a weekly basis in the SEC are light years ahead of other conferences with their intensity level. This happens every year where the heavyweights have ugly games vs. the have nots...sometimes they win ugly, sometimes they lose.

I'll be surprised if they don't have to sweat at least one or two games out against teams they're heavily favored against. Of course, who won't they be heavily favored against now...

 

It's hard to bring your A game every week, especially when you're expect to cruise. At the same time, every time you play wants to make their season by winning that game. Its almost impossible that it won't happen once. The key is getting the W...

The problem is it's not true when applied to aOSU...

 

They didn't trash their BCS foe when they left the conference. Instead they beat a team that lost it's best player to a horrific knee injury and got a couple of nice breaks from the stripes late in the game. Let's not let facts get in the way though...

I 100% thought OU would still be getting adjusted to running the no huddle, and as a result the score would be lower. Bradford is running it like he's been doing it for 5 years, and when they wanted to push tempo and score they did so with ease. It starts up front, and they have the best O Line in the country...

That I saw it first hand against a proven unit that was one of the best in the country last year? Sure. What else are you trying to get at???

Based on how weak their schedule is I would say USC should get left out if a school from the BIG 12 and SEC go undefeated. However, since they thumped tOSU, and will likely roll through the rest of their schedule...... It would indefinitely have to be the Big 12 team getting left out.

Nope. They'd hang 40+ on every SEC team. This is the best team Stoops has coached in Norman...

 

I mean this is so easy to say when there's no way that it will happen. Everyone knows they won't play every team in the SEC. UC may not be as good as you thought (hoped). I would be willing to bet that they don't get above 40 every game this year. It's funny that there was no way they would score 40 on UC, but now only 1 team in the country can hold them below 40. Laughable.
