Yes. There is a lot of football left to play. I believe if any of the 3 go undefeated and left out it will be awful for that team not to get a chance at the title.

 

Exactly my point too. I hope it happens along w/ PSU, BYU, East Carolina, South Florida. It won't happen, but it would be great.

 

If gt's "big 2" go udefeated along w/ a SEC school whoever gets left out will be getting the shaft. I don't think the computers would leave out the SEC school, but who knows? If it does happen we may at least get the +1 game soon.

I would prefer a playoff system. However, all those teams were undefeated, and USC won the title game 55-14. I thought your post implied that USC shouldn't have been in there.

 

And to answer your question, no I don't think Auburn would have beaten USC had they played that year.

 

I agree I dont think they would have either. However its crazy that we can just name a champion because we just think that they would beat the other team. Those Auburn players did everything they were suppose to, and that was to win every game, yet they didn't get a shot to win the Championship. The system we have now is just horrible.

OU has, by far, the best offense in the country. The only team they wouldn't hang 40+ on is USC...

 

I agree with you on OU being "That good", I am not so sure that they could hang 40+ on Texas but we will see.
