Yes...the Obama supporters. The issue of the inexperience being at the top of the Democratic ticket is only brought up as a response to their own allegations about Sarah Palin.

 

If everyone is truthful with themselves they will remember that is the the Republicans, not the Democrats, that brought up the issue of experience (or perceived lack thereof) with Obama. If people continue to be truthful with themselves, they will agree that Palin has no more experience than Obama does. Now, what importance each person puts on said experience is an issue of personal choice. However, it is only natural for those that had to defend Obama on the issue of experience to call out those that try to play up Palin's experience.

Not really. I agree with what Habib said in another thread a few days ago. There is NO experience or resume that will prepare one for the office of president as there is no job like it. So, it's not a big deal for me. But for those that it is, doesn't the fact that McCain choose someone with very little experience to be his #2 make you question his decision making process? This is a decision that he alone makes and doesn't have any checks, balances or limitations imposed on him by Congress.

Now, none of those are really earth-shattering, in fact I would assume anyone would hire a lawyer to guide them through an investigation even if they are innocent. But, how hard did the McCain campaign look into her background? Currently, they have dispatched ten lawyers to Alaska to do a more thorough vetting, and I'm willing to bet their are at least that many Democratic lawyers up there now. Will there be a surprise before November?

Not at all, he's doing what Obama claimed he would do and, as I expected, didn't. McCain brought in someone that's not status quo, someone that's not a Washington insider, someone that's a real person like you and I that hasn't been corrupted by the political machine. What did Obama do? Brought in the biggest Washington insider out there. I like the choice, I like the freshness, I like the direction. I have long gone on record here on BGP as not being much of a McCain fan, as of late he's winning me over. I was going to vote for him anyway because Obama is out of the question because of his stance on guns and abortion, but McCain seems to be heading more and more into the direction I feel this country needs to be led.

Agreed. Everyone has a skeleton or two in their closet. However, this is quickly mushrooming into an entire graveyard...

 

It really does make one wonder how thorough the vetting process was in this case.

I read today the Palin has already stopped referencing Hillary due to getting booed at a stop in PA. My guess now is that she will stop the "I was against the Bridge" talk as well.

It is pathetic how they dig up any and all dirt they can find on a candidate. That being said, I feel Palin will pass these tests with flying colors, she is one tough person. I expect her baptism of fire and the way she handles it will be what proves her worthiness to the doubters.
