I agree that everyone needs to stick with their teams but jumping off the wagon isn't anything new or isolated to Ashland fans. With that said I think the frustration is a carry over from last year and losing 3 straight to Raceland.

My post was not meant to be negative about any of those young men that play for Ashland. They played hard, and never quit, but I believe that their coach does not put them in the best position to win. I don't believe he is the right man to be leading the Tomcat program. Ashland has a very proud history, and I know many men that I played against feel the very same way. They are very embarrased about the current state of their alma mater. This surely isn't a one game judgement, but is based on the years that Hart has been in charge of the Tomcat program. It has done nothing but gone down hill since he's been there.

Its funny how the debates are already starting about Pikeville. But remember this is another 1A school.

Thought Racelands offensive and defensive lines played excellent in last nights game. I think everyone had to be a little suprised when Coach Hoof had his boys in the wish bone on the first series. I really liked how Raceland mixed up their offensive formations and play calls throughout the entire game; the days of Raceland being known as strictly an "air raid" or "passing" team seem to be over. The mixture of the spread and the power running game makes the Rams offense difficult to prepare for and fits their player personal perfect this season. Carver and Denton were alot of fun to watch, they really compliment each other nicely in the backfield. Besides a few first game jitters and mistakes, I thought Raceland played an overall good football game. Also, an excellent turn out by the Raceland fans, as usual. Good win for Raceland, stay focused and keep working hard.

I dont believe that anyone said Raceland was a bad football team but the facts are they are still a 1A team and Ashland is a 5A. This should hardly ever happen but not 3 years in a row.
