Swapping out Rudi for Alexander does not improve the Bengals Rb situation one iota. Maybe a nice hometown-flavor, feel-good story, but that's about it.

I'd do that in a heartbeat, if for no other reason than they both pose equal injury risk and are probably a wash as far as potential production, but Shaun brings more in terms of leadership and can be gotten much cheaper.

Plus I think Shawn is more elusive and a better pass receiver.

The Bengals almost never use Rudi as a receiver so maybe that is a push.

If they release Rudi does he still get paid? Of so, that don't sound like a Mike Brown move.
