August 30, 200818 yr I said it before and I will say it again, I think Alexander is a step above Rudi. If the Bengals cut Rudi and sign Alexander for less than what they were going to pay Rudi I think it may be a good move. I agree and the last year in Seattle they didnt have they line they once had so he struggled and was hurt. Rudi is done, he gave us a few good years but just didnt have the speed you need in the NFL. Sean is a playmaker and can also catch the ball out of the backfield. I woud love to see this happen. Cut Rudi and let him go play for the Falcons or someone like that.

Alexander has been working out at the University of Washington, running at the Dempsey Indoor and lifting in the weight room. He gets there before the Huskies get there or after they leave, and it helps to inspire him to see the fire in their eyes. He said he wouldn't mind being a backup or part of a 1-2 tandem like the Seahawks will unveil Sunday in Buffalo with his replacements, Julius Jones and Maurice Morris.
September 9, 200818 yr For the right price, I would take Shaun Alexander. Anybody who thinks that he'll add any leadership is kidding themselves. It's very tough to lead a team when you miss the offseason, preseason & (multiple) games. Add that to the fact that he'll be very far down the totem pole on the offense, and it'll even add to the difficulty. It doesn't really matter to me what the Bengals do. At this point, I couldn't care less.
