I think Ballard should be complimented for agreeing to play at X, and not a third site. Financially it will be big for them. Tigers in a romp though.

Ballard plays with St. X for a quarter but the tiger nation will be to much to overcome. 56-14

Ballard defeated 6A Henry Clay 3-1, and lost to 2A Green County 3-2 in their two preseason scrimmages.

 

I look for this Ballard/St. X. game to be close for a half, and then for the Tigers to pull away in the later stages for a 34-14 victory. It will seem strange seeing former St. X. offensive line coach, Jamie Brown, on the Bruins sideline.

Rich Rod cleaned house, including grad assistants, when he took over the Michigan job from Lloyd Carr. It was just a case for Jamie of being at right place (his dream spot) at the wrong time.

Doubt the re-energized Bruins will be able to put up much of a fight against the #1 Team in the STate.

I look for Ballard to give maximum effort, but that St. X team I saw scrimmage Henry Clay last Friday looked awfully strong without their offensive star and at least one other starter.

I think X will put up at least 40 and the Bruins, although improved over last year, will have less than 16.
