I use several browsers and google is my home page on one of them.

You guys didn't read the first post correctly. He goes to Google.com & googles Google.com...At least that's what 'Clyde' is saying anyway.

I don't bookmark any sites. Unless it's one I dont visit often and have trouble remembering the name.

 

It's just as quick for me to type the address.

He also titled it with a bookmarking comment and asked the question why you would bookmark a site like google.com.

Google is the only search engine I use.

I have been trying to figure this thread out. I think he is asking why you would bookmark a popular website like that. (just my understanding) If that is the case, I could see why he is asking that. I don't know about everyone, but I only bookmark pages/websites that I don't go to very often, or that I might forget about.

Bingo. Its not like you ask yourself "what is the name of that one google website' or 'what is the URL of the weather website.'

 

You bookmark sites that you don't remember the URL. I've got a college football site bookmarked that if not for the bookmark, I'd never find it because I don't even remember the name of the site.

 

So why would you bookmark google or espn or cnn or bluegrasspreps?

 

I'm not talking about making it your homepage.

I bookmark all the sites I visit most often.

I use the Clyde method. I only bookmark things I stumble upon, or have difficulty remembering the URL's for. iGoogle is my home page every where I log on.

Google.com's Personalized homepage is my homepage.
