Broken Toe....

Featured Replies

Rub some dirt on it :D. Other than that I probably ave broke every toe have at one time or another except for the big toes. Taping together as a "buddy splint" is one way but basically there is nothing more that they can do. As long as the break hasn't went up some in the foot as well, I had one to do that when I broke one toe right at the base. In that case I would say that it needs attention as a precautionary measure.

Basically all you can do is reduce swelling and then it is going to hurt for a while, it will eventually stop hurting and you are just left with a crooked toe.:D

Told you so!

Same thing happend with my tailbone. Back in February I woke up and it was killing me. It still has not fully recovered :irked:

I fell on my tail bone this past winter taking my dog out. I was on the driveway ( that was solid ice) and the dog chose to run the opposite direction and put me down. I still feel that pain every once in a while. the dr said it takes forever to heal.

Just call a Toe truck!!:D

UUUUGGGGGHHHH!:creepy:

If it hurts when you do that then don't do that. :D

I have broken my second toe from big toe many a time comming in late at night and trying to get to bed and stumping it. I always just let it go and took advil or tylenol. Agree it hurts like you know what for at least two days however, there is nothing they can do about it. JD

I must have had the Big Daddy of toe breaks because it hurt like the 7th circle of heck for over a week. I cant complain because I broke it while kicking a desk while watching a game film.:irked:

I thought you did it riding your big wheel in flip flops!

Nah, that was how I got the first of four broken noses. Needless to say, I've got a big schnozz. :D

You didn't look over and see a bottle of ether in your roommate's closet, did you?

Probably stubbed it really hard while drinking and forgot about it.

Oh, wait. That's how I broke mine.

You too, I thought I was the only one!

Rub some dirt on it :D.

:D That's what I was going to say... If there is an open cut I would try throwin' some salt in it too...
