Broken Toe....

Featured Replies

I would go to the doctor....at least he can give you some pain killers to ease your suffering. Im telling you, I have broken my jaw, my wrist, 3 fingers, dislocated my patella, and seperated my shoulder, and, outside of the patella, my broken toe hurt the worst. AA few pain killers would at least enable you to sleep....I remember having a hard time sleeping because of the pain!

I just woke up from a nap and left it tapped during the nap and it hurts worse than it ever did now. I have had my share of injuries but this one hurts the worst by far.

Make sure that your toe is reduced or at least set in the proper place. Besides causing it to heal awkward, Bone marrow cells can leak out of the broken toe causing a fat emboli and cause some serious problems.

This happened on the House re-run I watched last week.:p

But seriously, it does need to be set in place before taping to the middle toe.

Wow Really?

It does happen though; we talked about it in Bio last semester.

It's an infection not a broke toe. :irked:

Well, at least you can get something for it.:thumb:

I was going to tell you to suck it up, because I once broke all 10 of mine at once, but now I feel bad because you have an infection, so I won't.

^ I just started taking something yesterday and it's not really do anything yet.

You would be shocked how painful this really is. I wish it was on my hand or something. :irked:

How fast did it heal?

How fast did it heal?

It took months. She's 65 though, so age may have been a factor....and the fact that she probably didn't stay off it like she should have.

Right now I feel like that is the best option. Continuous intense pain, I can't even think about sleeping taking all kinds of meds that are not taking much pain away.
