August 5, 200818 yr My putting has been in the crapper lately and Ive thought about getting a new one qutie a bit. But then the more I think about it the more I feel its prolly the operator and not the club.
August 5, 200818 yr There is no way I come off not looking like an idiot on this one. Like most driving ranges they have a line of matt's with rubber tee's and you can also hit off the grass in front of them. I was hitting off the grass when it came time to hit my driver. I didn't have many tee's and not wanting to break the ones I had I just thought I would drive off the matt where I could use the rubber tee. I started hitting drives when I caught one off the lower half of the driver face. Well in my stupidity I didn't move my bag from in front of the matt I was hitting on. I figured it was far enough away but was I wrong. The ball came off low enough it hit my putter on the shaft right below the head. The next thing I know my putter head is flying through the air. The only thing I can take away from it is at least it didn't hit my driver or 3 wood. I would much rather replace the shaft in my putter (if that is what I decide to do) or buy a new putter all together then spend $75 dollars to replace just a shaft. If you broke your putter while it was in your bag with a shot from your driver, you might be wise to invest in a new driver!!:lol: No offense. I just couldnt resist!! Sounds like the way I hit my driver!:thumb::thumb:
August 5, 200818 yr If I were you, I would go to the nearest pro shop and ask the pro or manager for a pamplet with models in it. I have worked in a Pro Shop all summer and they have a pamplet for Irons, Putters, and Woods and you can just order it through the Pro Shop and get it that way.
August 5, 200818 yr Odyssey white hot with the shaft in the center is what I use. It was 110.00 when I bought it, I couldn't ask for a better one.
August 5, 200818 yr Odyssey Sabretooth is where its at. Most balanced putter Ive ever used by far. Plus if things get hot on the golf course you always have a good defensive weapon.

August 6, 200818 yr Titleist Scotty Cameron :thumb: Good choice. I've been putting with the Newport 2 model for 3 years now and I can't find anything I like any better.
August 6, 200818 yr The I series Anser is actually the one that I have been looking at. You can't go wrong with a Ping, Anser or Zing. That's what a whole lot of pro's have played for years, there is simply nothing better.
