Track the Cubs (Week 18)

Featured Replies

He pitched near 130 tonight, his highest pitch count in 4 years. I wouldn't mind at all if he needed some rest in a month.
Sabathia threw 124 on Monday night ... not a huge number, but you wouldn't want him to do it every outing. It isn't totally uncharted territory for him, either ... he threw 123 in his last start with Cleveland.

He's now averaged 114 in five starts with Milwaukee.

Prince Fielder looks bigger every time I see him. I see him becoming a DH very, very soon.

His daddy started to balloon once he started hitting home runs too. I have a card of Cecil his rookie year with the Blue Jays and he looks rather slim.

I think CC will be a Cub next year :D

Could you imagine that rotation:

Zambrano, Dempster, Harden, Sabathia. My goodness gracious, to go with that offense.

FUN!

If Cuban buys the Cubs, it wouldn't surprise me at all!

I don't think they keep Dempster and sign Sabathia. At some point, they are either going to have to commit to Marshall in the rotation or deal him. If they would commit to him, I think he could be a solid starter. Just think how good the current rotation would be if Rich Hill didn't need a flashlight and a map to find home plate. Of course, if he pitches decent, they don't make the Hardin trade.

So are you saying you think they let Dempster go and sign Sebathia?

I'm saying the only way they can sign Sabathia is to not resign Dempster. Just because they don't resign Dempster, doesn't mean they will get Sabathia.

100...

Ah shut it, your team is double digits back:D

It's only because you're smaller!

Pretty much. I can always root for the Yankees and against the Cubs, though.
