I wouldn't mind at all if he needed some rest in a month.Sabathia threw 124 on Monday night ... not a huge number, but you wouldn't want him to do it every outing. It isn't totally uncharted territory for him, either ... he threw 123 in his last start with Cleveland. He's now averaged 114 in five starts with Milwaukee.

July 29, 200818 yr I don't think they keep Dempster and sign Sabathia. At some point, they are either going to have to commit to Marshall in the rotation or deal him. If they would commit to him, I think he could be a solid starter. Just think how good the current rotation would be if Rich Hill didn't need a flashlight and a map to find home plate. Of course, if he pitches decent, they don't make the Hardin trade.
