July 29, 200818 yr Pretty much. I can always root for the Yankees and against the Cubs, though. And I used to like you:irked:
July 30, 200818 yr Cubs are whooping up on the Brewers and Ben Sheets, up 6-0 in the 7th, Aramis has 3 doubles tonight
July 30, 200818 yr Author But I thought Milwaukee was the best team in the National League???? Things even out, teams go up and down throughout the course of the year. Can't believe how the media jumped right on that Brewer bandwagon. They are still a darn good team, but to bury the Cubs just because they were going through a slump while Milwaukee won 22 in a row was absurd. Good to see the Cubs sending a message, they need to keep it up the next two games.
July 30, 200818 yr You have to wonder how the Brewers are feeling right now, they've sent out there 2 "big dogs" and the Cubs have sent a message! Whats scary, is the Brewers still have to face Dempster and Hardin! Its possible they can sweep if they get Hardin any run support

I would take a 5 game lead, but I would be happy with at least a 3 game lead.

July 30, 200818 yr Author It's very possible they could sweep this series I know, but like most Cubs fans, I'm enjoying these two wins, but not getting TOO excited.
July 30, 200818 yr Author Kiss of death.:walk: Dempster only has 1 road win the last 2 years, so I would say the Brewers are due tomorrow.
July 31, 200818 yr Author Cubs win! The Brewers? What a joke  I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the Cubs beat down the greatest team in National League history, BUT I know there are still 2 months to play and things will go back and forth through September. Of course if the Cubs want to build up a 10 game lead on both the Cards and Brewers, I won't complain.
July 31, 200818 yr I wouldn't get excited over three games. You haven't won anything yet. Coming from the new guy, its a track the CUBS thread, thus the TRACKING
