That would actually make for an interesting (and disappointing) thread to read about all the past prospects (draft picks, free agents, and traded players) that were deemed "future" Red's pitching stars, yet never amounted to a hill of beans. Let's start the bidding with Ty Howington (draft pick) and Jimmy Anderson (trade). :irked:

July 24, 200818 yr Come to think of it I would have to add Ray Knight and Joe Morgan ( bc of his arrogance on the MLB/espn games) along with Pete Rose's personality. Wierd thing is that the two latter are amoung my favorites as well (players/on the field).
