Harang headed back to Cincy for MRI

What was it that those Cubs fans were saying when the Reds hired Baker about pitchers arms?

Nothing. We were bitter and didn't know what we were talking about.

I think the problem stems from Harang pitching 211, 234, 231 innings the last 3 seasons...not the relief outing this season.

Come on!:irked: I'm trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and you're not making it easy...

I'm already done w/ him after a half of a season. I hope nobody gives him the benefit of the doubt anymore. I'm quite sure that he knows 100 times more than me about baseball and that he makes hundreds of decisions a week. He's made quite a few that I will never agree w/ and I'd love to see him out of here after just 1 year.

While that could be he was pitching just like those last 3 years until that relief appearance.

Looks like the test came back normal...

Brantley said today he just looks fatigued. He thinks if he gets 10-12 days rest he'll be good to go again. He's no doctor, but that's at least encouraging.

I heard that too. Brantley blamed the fatuge on his cutter, saying the motion is not the same as usual.

Brantley needs to reveal some of his insight to Dick Pole. Isn't that how most clubs operate? The announcers inform the coaches as to what to do??

 EXACTLY

They could have saved a lot of time and just checked out BGP. There's been quite a few of us on here that have been saying the same thing since that relief outing. :thumb::D

You mean having the long relief guy go one 1/3 of an inning?
