Track The Reds (Week 14)

Featured Replies

One more sign that Griffey is a)done and b)should not be in the 3 hole: walking a SS that no one really wanted to get to Griffey.

How many 3 hole hitters in MLB have the other team walk the 2 hole hitter to get to them?

Sad. Sort of like Mays in 73.

It is time.... I love JR. but he ain't a three hitter anymore

A lot of news out of the Reds camp. Hopper to the DL, and will have Tommy John surgery. Harang scratched for tomorrow's game because of forearm tightness. Fogg will be activated, and make the start. A possible Reds-Phillies trade close to being done according to a few sites where the Reds would send Arroyo and a utility man to the Phillies for Shane Victorino and a top catching prospect. And now today's lineup. Don't be surprised if Arroyo is lifted early even if he's pitching well.

Jerry Hairston Jr. ss

Jay Bruce cf

Ken Griffey Jr. rf

Brandon Phillips 2b

Adam Dunn lf

Jeff Keppinger 3b

Joey Votto 1b

Paul Bako c

Bronson Arroyo p

Beat me to it LCRW. Harang needed that about 5 starts ago.

Beautiful. Just freaking beautiful.

Umm, I believe I would do that trade in a heartbeat.

Victorino would be a really nice addition to the roster...

Marlins are also interested in David Ross or Paul Bako. Any prospect you can get from them would be awesome.

Victorino would be a really nice addition to the roster...

I agree, but where do you play him with the current roster makeup? Do you play him over Hairston?

Victorino would be a really nice addition to the roster...

Please provide some info on him. I have no clue who he is.

Reds have the pitching to make a run of winning 12 out of 15 games and getting themselves back into a Wild Card race.

That would be a great trade for the Reds. Griffey gone, put Bruce in right and Victor in center.

Do your own homework... :p

Did I miss something? Where was the trade where Griffey was gone?

Really? Don't you watch much baseball? He is the Phillies starting CF, and either leads off, or hits 2nd behind Rollins. He has tremedous speed. He needs to work on his OBP.
