I agree, you think you should get that call at home..

I don't really like how Ross called this game for Volquez.

Reds got a break earlier on the home plate call that should have gone the Pirates way, things do have a way of evening out, BUT that was an absolutely horrid call. At least the home plate play was bang, bang and very close.

If the ump is in the right position, he makes that call easy. It looked like he may have been shielded from the play a bit by Doumit. But that's not E5's fault, it's Fairchild's. One step to the left by Fairchild and he makes that call.

 

Definitely should've gotten more out of that inning after loading the bases with no outs.

So, how much confidence do we have in CMFP to either tie or win this game here? Nice piece of hitting by Hairston to get one of the runs back.
