Do your own homework... :p

Since I know you like to show how much you know, I thought I would give you a chance to showoff your knowledge.:sssh:;):p:lol::lol::lol:

Hate to admit this but I do respect your opinion and was looking for more information on whether you thought it was a good trade or not.

Really? Don't you watch much baseball? He is the Phillies starting CF, and either leads off, or hits 2nd behind Rollins. He has tremedous speed. He needs to work on his OBP.

Thanks for the info.

It's called having a son in a summer baseball, basketball and golf league with a daughter in a summer basketball camps and golf league.

I watch Reds games and that is about every other one.

Griffey will be gone at the end of the year, if he isn't traded. Here are his stats so far in his career:

I agree at the end of the year, Jr is gone.

I agree, but where do you play him with the current roster makeup? Do you play him over Hairston?

He is a younger version of Ryan Freel, as far as his numbers go, but he's a switch hitter. A little smaller than Freel though...Both have a .272 career batting Ave. and Freel has a lil better OBP. Imo...Victorino is a MUCH better baserunner.

I hope he plays smarter than Freel.

The trade said Arroyo and a utility player, could that u-man be Hairston? Even if it isn't I think you have to play Victorino over Hairston, he's 5 years younger and you could use the rest of this season to work on improving his OBP.

Griffey? It's Arroyo.

:thumb: I was going to add that, but decided not to. Glad you did.

I would love to add Shane Victorino to the Reds lineup...

The thought of the Phillies accepting that trade makes me giddy.

I wish we could've kept Andy Phillips. We could have packaged him with somebody to add some value.

Very good point.

Only showing a 30 percent chance of rain the rest of the day, hopefully they can get it in.

I need something to watch to kill time before the Cubs/Cards game tonight.
