July 4, 200818 yr Really? Don't you watch much baseball? He is the Phillies starting CF, and either leads off, or hits 2nd behind Rollins. He has tremedous speed. He needs to work on his OBP. Thanks for the info. It's called having a son in a summer baseball, basketball and golf league with a daughter in a summer basketball camps and golf league. I watch Reds games and that is about every other one.

July 4, 200818 yr I agree, but where do you play him with the current roster makeup? Do you play him over Hairston? He is a younger version of Ryan Freel, as far as his numbers go, but he's a switch hitter. A little smaller than Freel though...Both have a .272 career batting Ave. and Freel has a lil better OBP. Imo...Victorino is a MUCH better baserunner.

Even if it isn't I think you have to play Victorino over Hairston, he's 5 years younger and you could use the rest of this season to work on improving his OBP.
