BGP is an amazing place.

I agree. I love being able to talk with folks that I otherwise would never have an opportunity to meet. I love how I can vehemently disagree with someone on politics but share the same musical tastes with that same person or root like heck with them for the Reds or Bengals.

This is what family and friends do...the agree to disagree and still come out as friends!!!

This is what makes this place so special. We all may have not have met yet, however, it is like I have known the BGP Family my whole life. I am really able to get to know people....and, I hope they have not had a problem in getting to know me or PH.

When we have been able to get together with some BGP folks, it is like we have known each other forever!!! This place is a real network of friends....or and extended family!

It is because of the members is why I had joined. PH was already a member before he lost his legs....we had so many phone calls, cards, etc....because of this, I got to know certain people that I did not want to lose contact with. There was no way that I was not going to become a member after that. Everyone here are great people!!!!!

Guru did a wonderful thing by putting so much time and money as well as energy into this site. I also know that it took...and does take....away from family and friends (at least I am sure it must) and for that, I am thankful for his wife and kids!!!! He already has his hands full with his career...and yet, he keeps this site going!!! Wonderful man...for those who have not met him, make it a point to some how meet Guru!!! He is a great guy!!!:thumb::thumb:

All I can say about BGP is that you never realize how awesome this site is until you leave it. :thumb:

I normally don't go into the P&R forum, but with this being an election year, and this being a slow time for sports I've found myself in there pretty often. Between P&R and the general discussion just about anything you want to talk about is covered. What I've found so amazing is that while I may not root for the same team or have the same political views we may enjoy the same taste in music or movies or so on. In one thread I may be questioning you and in another supporting you. It helps to browse all forums you get a pretty good take on people.

I agree and have been over in P%R more latley than I ever have. Probably will not be on it as much now that the primary's are over untill it gets closer to November. I have learned to not take things personal over there, usually has some very strong feelings. I just state my opinions and try to respect others as long as it doesn't get personal.

If we were all the same on BGP it would be a pretty dang boring place :D.

As for this being a very special place I 100% agree. We all can argue :argue:, fight :fight: over anything from Politics, what teams we like and dislike and what they do to what and our favorite bands, food, movies and dang near anything else.

When it gets to the things in life that really matter (prayer threads, sickness, deaths ad such) then all come together as one. A person will not find this on any other site out there. I have tried a couple (will not name them) and they are imo nothing but cheap imitations of BGP!

Thank You to all BGP members, Mods, Admins and the Guru for making this the special place that it is! :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

I agree on all points that you made here Mrs. PH and especially the bolded lines. You are just one example of the great people on this site.:thumb: As a whole I know very few on here personally but I feel that I know most of you personally, a person will not find this on any other site.

I hope to meet a lot more of you in the future.

I've been away for far too long and I agree its a great place!

It certainly is a unique place! :thumb:

Case in point between you and I....we struggled for quite some time, but get along great now....TD hated me, until she KNEW me.

If anyone wants to know just how special BGP and it's members are all they have to do is talk to MrRk. After my surgery the phone would ring in my room and when he answered it there would be someone on the other line that he had never heard of. That person would simply tell him their BGP name and that they were praying for me.

The prayers, the cards, the flowers, the phone calls all from people, most I have never had the honor of meeting, who are members of this site.

I am truly honored to be a member of this site and I am honored to call most of you my friends.

I too have met some great people on this site. It's great to see that there are still people that genuinely care about people. I hope to one day meet every poster. That would be an awesome thing. Maybe there should be a big get together somewhere in the middle of this big ole' state one day. Sort of a meet and greet.

Like one big party - wouldn't that be great - Let's get busy and work on that!!!!

Great site, love making friends, and "bugging" the private schools folks.

It is also a forum to share Jesus Christ and his word. And I'd love to see a poster someday say they have had a deeper understanding or even come to salvation through the work of this sharing thru the posts.

Love praying for people and have the same folks pray for me/family.

I'm sorry I'm a little testy during the football season, but I'm like that with everyone.

Mods do a great job and I know its hard work. Guru is a fair person and I'd love to play some table tennis with him some day. I'll come up there.

Frankforts pretty centrally located maybe we should try and put together something there.

This is fantastic site and I'm glad I joined. I never thought I would post very often on here when I first joined, but I'm over 1,000 posts. The site is full of good people and hopefully I'll get to meet some of you in the near future. Thanks Guru for getting this started.

You think I'm gonna admit that? :irked:

;)

Thanks, as one member to all others, for all the fun you bring to the table.

I've made some extremely close personal friends through this site, and some "cyber friends" that I look foward to meeting personally.

I thank every one of you for overlooking my politics, religious views, support of private schools, of UL, of Trinity, and getting to know the real "me." :D
